Effective Mentoring

This page provides relevant resources on effective, inclusive and intentional mentor-based approaches to enhance diversity and strengthen recruitment, retention and graduation rates of students at 1890 LGIs in Food, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences (FANH) fields. Achievement and exposure gaps, combined with social cues and conventions that lead underrepresented groups to shortchange themselves, can be combated with examples of success in academic areas they never considered before.
