SSWD Center and Farm Credit Scholarship Awardees

Fifteen undergraduate 1890s land-grant university students from around the nation are the first recipients of the inaugural 1890 Center of Excellence for Student Success and Workforce Development and Farm Credit Scholarship. The competitive scholarship provides one-time $1,000 awards to students who demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in agriculture.

The 1890 Center of Excellence Motivate to Educate for Achievement/Student Success and Workforce Development (MEA) Center and Farm Credit are excited to partner to promote students’ interest in pursuing agricultural sciences degrees. The overall goal is to establish and maintain a pipeline to prepare students to become the next generation of agribusiness leaders.
